A proud Texas Christian University Horned Frog, Chris Blake grew up a sports and news junkie in North Texas. While at TCU he served a number of roles for student media, hosting pre-game shows for Horned Frog football and providing play-by-play for the baseball team on KTCU; working as the Sports Director and Executive Producer for the student newscast TCU News Now; and earning several SPJ awards for his work in the TCU Daily Skiff. Chris spent three summers broadcasting baseball games in gorgeous Cape Cod, as well as a fourth summer in San Angelo, Texas. He's worked in the public relations department at the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York and embarked a journalism fellowship to Athens, Greece where he reported on what people were doing to help the debt-ridden country out of its financial crisis. Chris is currently an assignment editor at NBC5 and covers Horned Frog football for Rivals.com. When he's not busy with his hodge podge of odd jobs, A Greek-American, Chris enjoys finding live music, playing basketball and all things in the greek culture (OPA!).
