Before I decided that I wanted to be a reporter I was a PR intern at BET Networks (Black Entertainment Television) in California. While I was there I wrote press releases, artist bios, and assembled screener press kits for mass distribution. I also assisted in various public relation duties and attended ComicCon and the Television Critic Association (TCA) Conference. I also served as a talent escort for the 2007 BET Awards, 2007 Hip Hop Awards, and the 2008 BET Awards. When I moved back to Texas I realized I liked PR, but had a growing interest in reporting. I'm now the News Director for North Texas Television and am proud to be a reporter for DFWReporting.com!
