Cover DESCRIP

The elegant Stanley Korshak in uptown Dallas is the home of Cover which is an innovative line of cover ups from designers in the DFW metroplex. The shak is where the public can find this exclusive line of swimwear.

Robyn Stevens and Lisa Moore have teamed up to create this functional yet stylish line of swimwear.

“It was really all about being lazy and not wanting to put sunscreen all over my body,” said co-creator of Cover Lisa Moore. ”

“We wanted something cute,” said co-creator of Cover Robyn Stevens. “We didn’t want something that was to masculine or didn’t fit right. We wanted something that was cutting edge and fashion forward.”

It is Moore’s close family experience that has inspired the ladies to go beyond creating a normal cover up.

“My sister was diagnosed with melanoma at 23,” said Moore. “She’s cancer free but we realized even young girls need to start thinking about health.”

Along with the shak in Dallas Cover is carried in stores in Los Angeles, Malibu, The Hamptons and the Bahamas. They’re featured on Vogue.com and have the Today Show and Women’s Wear Daily interested in showcasing their designs. Moore and Stevens credit their collaboration for the success of Cover.

“We compliment each other for sure,” said Stevens.

“We couldn’t do it without each other,” said Moore.

It is great to be back in my home state of Texas! Born in Dallas, I have always enjoyed performing and bringing news to the public. From ballet to ice-skating, to cheerleading and on-stage performances, I eventually shifted my interest to focus on writing and current events. My goal has been to cover human interest and entertainment stories. Once I was ready for college I moved to the Mid-West to attend the University of Missouri-Columbia, Go Mizzou! There I focused on developing my skills in the field of communication. I worked at the NBC-affiliate, KOMU-TV8, where I obtained the foundation of my broadcast experience. After graduation I decided to move back to Texas with eager hopes for my future in broadcast. Now, I am part of the DFWReporting.com team! I see DFWReporting.com as a perfect opportunity for me to bring you the best stories throughout the metroplex. In my spare time I like to be out-in-about the city, enjoying live music, eating at great restaurants or viewing the latest fashion trends at Northpark. Please feel free to contact me with any story ideas for DFWReporting.com or to just say hello. I would love to hear from you!
