We hear of many peoples fears such as heights, spiders, and snakes, but what is the number one fear in America? At the top of the list is death, the fear of which is necrophobia. Coming in second is the fear of failure, which is called kakorrhaphiophobia. What is your greatest fear? Do you know the name of the phobia? Send me your comments!

Go to http://www.phobialist.com. There’s a list a mile long. I use this all the time when speaking. Some are quite serious and some quite funny. One of them that’s kind of funny is Cacophobia – the fear of Ugliness. My greatest is darkness, which is Nyctophobia. Second would be time, because it slips away so fast. It’s called Chronophobia.
