Lisa Mikals Is Helping Businesses Thrive In DFW

Frisco resident Jennifer Kinnear is like many in a growing trend that want to make transitions in their lives and their career’s.

“I was a CPA with one of the big accounting firms for several years,” said Jennifer Kinnear. “I like to say I’m a retired CPA after I had my second child. I still wanted to use my brain and my education but at the same time I wanted to be a wife and a mom.”

Kinnear decided to work from home. Needless to say she is much happier with her new career.

“I could do what I did before,” said Kinnear. “That’s what I was trained and educated for but this is what makes me passionate because I get to make a difference in people’s lives.”

It wasn’t until a mutual friend introduced Kinnear to virtual assistant Lisa Mikals that she realized how smoothly and organized things could be run.

“Have I had clients that are not willing to change? Absolutely,” said Virtual Assisant Crossing owner Lisa Mikals. “I’ve seen them pretty much stay stagnant and I’ve had a couple that I’ve had to watch and even assist painfully close their doors. I’m talking multi-million dollar businesses at one time. My overall goal with my business is certainly to impact as many lives as I can.”

Mikals is a professional virtual assistant that can take her clients from chaotic to controlled.

“Data entry, customer followup and retention, marketing, accounting, book keeping, quick books and more,” said Mikals. ” We do training and coaching as well.”

Even though Mikals formally started her business 3 years ago she’s been in this line of work for almost twenty years.

“Talking with other VA’s it sounds like I’m doing really well,” said Mikals. “I can’t think of a client that have not told me the impact that I’ve had on their business and on their life.”

For Mikals this is about more than just making money.

“I think anyone that meets me will know I eat, sleep and breath impacting lives,” said Mikals. “If I can help them to get out there and reach more people than I feel like I am being just as successful.”
