The young at heart are coming out to play but maybe not like you expected. PlayDate is introducing a new alternative to the Dallas club scene and PlayDaters are joining in on the fun.
“PlayDate was created basically for people who are still wanting to do something a little different,” said PlayDate employee Karl Mayes.
Hungry Hippo, Checkers, Uno and Pictionary are just a few of the games that filled the tables at the West End in Dallas.
Antonio Cover, a first time PlayDater, had more than games on his mind.
“My first impression was there’s a lot of sexy women here,” said Cover.
What are the best games to play with these sexy women?
“Play checkers because while it’s competitive at the same time it gives a lot of time for conversation,” said Cover.
“It’s a very nostalgic environment,” said Mayes. “It allows people to not feel awkward like they’re not in a awkward position in order to be able to still be able to meet people, network and still have a great time all while having cocktails and playing games.”
