
For many juvenile offenders their futures are bleak but for some young men and women all they need is a second chance. Dallas based juvenile attorney Lyle B. Medlock was a tenacious advocate for the rights of juveniles. Since his passing the Dallas Juvenile Department has created a scholarship for offenders while honoring his legacy.
In an effort to raise money for the Lyle B. Medlock scholarship a luncheon held at Brooklyn’s restaurant in Dallas received a visit from CNN analyst Roland Martin. The Dallas Juvenile Department awarded three scholarships to students pursuing a college education. Martin was the keynote speaker. Take a look at this inspiring video above!
