Hello there. I'm Kendall Kirkham, and thanks for reading my bio! I have lived in Fort Worth my whole life, and didn't realize how much I loved it until I left it behind to taste a bit of the Hollywood life. After graduating from Texas Christian University with a Radio/TV/Film degree in December 2007, my Himalayan cat Cadbury and I journeyed to Cali where I interned for E! Entertainment and The Ellen DeGeneres Show for 3 months. Though it was a good experience, I realized it wasn't for me and came running back to the Lone Star State. My thirst for entertainment news though, I don't think will ever leave me. I primarily love two things about journalism: you are always in the know and you get to to tell stories. I am very grateful to have been given this opportunity with DFWReporting.com so I can get out there and tell stories about what's buzzing in place I know and love!

Nice job, Kendall. Thanks for the information.

One other thing that i would add, since we’re in Texas, you can actually switch electricity providers to one with a lower kilowatt hour rate. I recently switched to a lower rate with Bounce Energy (from TXU) and reduced my electricity bill from December to January by about 30%.
